Today, I had a patient come into my office.  I’m going to tell you a story, and it’s not going to go how you think.

The patient comes in, fills out paperwork, sits down, and I go to talk over everything with him. I’m glancing through the paperwork, and I see that he didn’t even really fill the paperwork out all the way – which is the first red flag for me.

He was coming in to look for somebody to help him with low back pain, which is a common complaint. I looked over everything and said, “Hey, you know what? I don’t think I’m the right fit for you. I think you need to go to this office. We actually have another chiropractor right next door.”

I sent him over there so that they would be able to take care of him, and the look of shock on his face was interesting.

I believe that you don’t have to try to see every single person; there’s the right fit, the right doctor, and the right approach out there for you.

In my office, we tend to work with more neurological issues. We help people with migraines, headaches, and any other sort of neurological issue that they can’t figure out – they’re tired of just throwing the same old solutions at them. It felt like this guy wasn’t a fit for that reason, and it’s best if he goes to this other office.

As I leave, the doctor said, “Hey, thank you for sending a patient my way.” He was completely shocked.

I think that we can live in a world where it’s not about, “You have to come see ME!” or “I know what’s right.”

I know that there are people out there reading this who have tried everything, and they’re looking for someone to help them.  If that sounds like you, then I’m the right fit for you.
